We acquired our first show dog CH Cascadia Bailey's Irish Cream (Bailey) from Helen Wymore (Cascadia) and Judi James (Rainkees) in 2006. With the help of Helen and Judi, we learned how to properly groom and show Keeshonds. Bailey is still living with us as a retired champion and very much loved companion. Our girl, CH Shamrock's Sydney Harbour (Sydney), came to us in 2008 from Shannon Kelly (Shamrock). Shannon and Helen helped us gain knowledge about breeding and the care of newborn puppies.
After getting her conformation championship in late 2010, Sydney had her first litter, sired by GCH Allante's Politically Correct (Harvey). She had six beautiful boys. One of the six stayed on here at Cedarhills, with the name Cedarhills First Harvest-Quincy. In May of 2011, 9 month old Cascadia Playing Charades At Shamrock (Reggie), came to live with us, again from Shannon Kelly. We are very grateful to Shannon for the new addition to our family.
Brian's family had a grape vineyard in Rickreall, OR named Cedarhills, so when it became time for us to decide on a kennel name, we chose to use Cedarhills as well. You will see this reflected in our website theme and the naming of our puppies. We are members of Pacific Crest Keeshond Club, Mount Hood Keeshond Club and the Keeshond Club of America. We are Breeders of Merit with AKC.
Cedarhills is a home-based kennel and all dogs (adults, puppies, companion, and show) live in our house as cherished members of the family. Each and every one of them is very special, loved and appreciated. Thank you for visiting our site.
